It's cold, it's raining, and I don't remember the last time I left the house without a coat. There's no denying it—winter is well and truly upon us. However, instead of moaning about the frosty mornings and dark nights, I've decided to embrace all things cosy and make the most of the new season. One thing that I'm really focusing on now that I'm spending more time at home is my self-care. That's right, I'm talking weekly face masks, hair masks andat-home manicures to help lift my mood and make me feel my very best.
As much as I love doing my nails, lately I've been feeling a bit uninspired and unsure ofwhatto go for this November. Although we're in the run-up to Christmas, it feels a little too early to whack out the glitter polishes and shimmery top coats, but it's also tooautumnal for bright colours and pastel shades. So, I decided to reach out toJuanita Huber-Millet, founder and creative director at Townhouse, to find out which November nail colours she recommends.
Keep on scrolling for the nail expert's top recommendations, and treat yourself to a fresh manicure to make the dreary weather a little more tolerable.

Classic Look of Deep Red. Deep reds or classic reds are always a good option for the Thanksgiving or fall season. This pays homage to the rich colors found in the beautiful foliage of the changing trees and also communicates a darkening of the seasons as fall transforms into winter.

We typically associate green and reds with Christmas. Metallics, glitters, and shimmers in silver, gold, red, and more are also great—all these shades convey a cheerful and celebratory mood."
"I think this autumn we will see a lot of rich brown shades. I can see lots of caramel, toffee, chocolate and cream shades trending,” says luxury nail artist and educator, Jess White. “The warm and inviting tones exude a sense of cosiness and sophistication," she adds.
A white nail is a winter classic—and can also can help warm up your skin tone. “By winter, many of us have lost our summer glow. Wearing white nail polish can add a tiny bit of color back into our skin,” says celebrity manicurist and educator Mimi D.
