Critical:Quality,ValueI went in about a week ago to get my nails done. As you can see from the photos they weren’t done right. After a week of having them there is already lifting and one nail has already popped completely off like a press on. And how I KNOW they weren’t don’t correctly was because I didn’t even notice it came off until I was looking at my nails therefore it didn’t hurt meaning they weren’t applied right. I called the shop to ask for a partial refund not even a full one and the manager told me that they don’t do refunds and that I must’ve done something wrong because everyone else’s nails are fine except mine. Keep in mind when I was getting my nails done the nail technician told me she had only been doing nails for a couple months now so obviously she was an inexperienced which resulted in my nails lifting and falling off after just a week of having them . I told the manager that on the phone and he blew me off and said that I must have the wrong nail shop because all his nail technicians I’ve been with him for 10+ years. After a week of having them there is already lifting and one nail has already popped completely off like a press on. Critical:Cleanliness,Professionalism,PunctualityLet me start by saying I used to visit this salon with no problems. However that was 4 years ago before I relocated back to the area. This time I got there at 4:45 and signed my name on a notepad they never referenced or called names from. At least 3 or 4 people came in after me and was seen who I assume had appointments. Had I been made aware of the wait time I could have made a decision regarding my time. At 6pm I asked if I could at least soak. After noticing the dirty foot pad, I was disgusted. At 6:30 I asked for a towel to dry my feet so I could leave. There was no apology or explanation given. I will never visit this dirty or ghetto shop again. So I just had the most horrible experience at this shop because the owner couldn’t take constructive criticism. I got my nails done a week ago and within two days two of my nails broke. She did not cure them. She got upset because I told her I didn’t want her to do my nails because they broke off and she told me I can get out of her shop, that is very unprofessional and unbecoming of an owner to say out of their mouth. I do not recommend the shop to anyone because if anything goes wrong with your nails and your voice your opinion they’ll tell you to get out their shop. You definitely should get zero stars. and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau because you have to have plausible reason why you’re escorting or asking someone to leave the premises. This business is for the public.

If you are reading this, I beg you not to give your money to this establishment. I got a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax here, and during the pedi the lady dropped a bottle of acrylic primer on my feet. It stung quite a bit but I figured it would go away so I paid my $80 with a large tip and left, I mistakenly did not get a receipt because I paid cash and didnt think I would need it. The lady gave me a coupon for $8 off my NEXT visit for dropping the primer on me. When I got home, my feet would not stop burning and slowly burn marks started to show up. I drove back and showed them what was happening and asked for my money back. They said they would give me the money back for my feet only, and when I said that wouldnt cover my doctors visit they said they wouldnt give me any money back at all but they would pay for my medical bills. So I drove to urgent care (I had to go here because I left the next day for florida and couldn’t make it to a PCP). I was charged $75 copay and billed $250 for services. I took the bills to the owner (who before said he was taking care of these bills), and he now refused to take them and said I did this to myself at home and just wanted him to pay the bills. So now I am stuck with these bills and burned feet and these people get off scott free for what they did to me. NOT OKAY! Not to mention, ONE DAY after getting my acrylics put ok, my pinky finger nail fell off.

J Nails is a very nice salon. The workers are all very professional as well as personal. They make you feel right at home. Everyone wears a mask, and there are dividers between each customer and staff member. The precautions they’ve taken to keep each client safe is truly commendable. They also do an excellent job on nails . Also an excellent job on eyebrows. Will never go anywhere else.

If I could give this place a lower review I would!! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! THEY DID AN AWFUL JOB ON MY NAILS & THE SERVICE WAS EVEN WORSE! John who did my nails seemed as if he knew what he was doing… However the very next day not 1 but 2 of my acrylic nails had broken off (1 literally while I was searching thru my purse!) at the point where the tip was glued and barely any of my actual nail was showing!! Obviously the tips were glued down WAY too close to the edge! Not only was I charged over $100 for a full set/pedicure (plus a $20 tip unfortunately) but when I went back in the very next day to have them repaired (which I was even intending to pay for with no attempt to get a discount even though obviously my nails were done incorrectly in the 1st place!) I was turned away on a Saturday evening bc ‘they were closing in 30 min & he (John) had 2 other clients! I was absolutely shocked & angry! I had to go out with 1 Nail on each hand broken off all the way down! Needless to say I haven’t been back… And I just wanted to let everyone know so they don’t throw their $$ away like I did!

I paid $102+ tip for a full set of acrylic nails, coffin shaped, matte gel nails and a gel matte pedicure. I do think it’s over priced in comparison to other shops. They did soooo good on the pedicure though. So good I went to sleep.

J-nails is the best. I’ve been going here faithfully 5 years and I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else. They are soo nice and do a great job! They actually take their time and make sure your satisfied when their finished!
