After years of speculation and hope from fans, Incredibles 3 was officially confirmed as "coming soon" during the D23 2024 event. This announcement follows the success of Incredibles 2, which returned to the big screen 14 years after the original film.

In my opinion, it's definitely not necessary to watch the first film before watching the sequel. Though they do make small references to the events of the first film which may confuse you. For instance, they reference Gazerbeam as well Dynaguy, two characters only mentioned in the first film originally.

While I understand the disappointment, this was NOT a bad film. It isn't as good as the first one, but I think it holds up pretty well! There's lots of fun to be had watching this from the animation to the humor, and there are still some touching scenes that show there is heart put into this film.

One of Pixar's most disappointing movies, hopefully, the third is better Content collapsed. It's definitely an incredible sequel. Though it might not live up to the original in some aspects like the villain, but it's still good.
