What’s our secret to exceptionally good ice cream?

Cream is our #1 ingredient.

After all, it’s called ice CREAM, isn’t it? We use locally sourced dairy and only the finest farm-fresh ingredients. Our products are rich and creamy because we selectively partner with local dairy farmers in rural PA, VA, and NY to ensure the highest of quality and consistency.

Farms

1. We support local farmers from PA, NY, and VA by using their products.
2. Ice cream that cannot be used is saved and transported to local pig farmers for feed.
3. Waste from our production plant is pre-treated to remove Bio Oxygen Demand before sending to local farms to use as fertilizer.

Sustainability

Our production plant uses Ammonia for refrigeration, which is more environmentally-friendly than other methods.

Equipment

1. We reclaim the Freon gas in our freezers before we send them out to be recycled.
2. In 2017, we began using gas in our refrigeration that is more friendly to the environment.
3. 95% of our truck fleet uses Electric Cold Plate Technology to reduce carbon emissions.

Paper & Cardboard

1. We require that all cardboard packaging be at least 40% recyclable paper.
2. All of our industrial waste (cardboard, plastic, etc.) is 100% recycled.
