Has anyone successfully used an IPL device on peach fuzz? | Mumsnet (2024)

No it doesn’t make them grow back stubbly - have a look at some tutorials online and then see if you’d like to try it. The eyebrow razors are only a couple of £ and the whole process is very quick; I’ve only done it a few times (perhaps 10) over the course of several years, generally when it starts to bother me (when it gets long lol 😩) but I know a lot of people do it more frequently as part of their regime, so hopefully someone else will be able to add more info if I’m missing anything 😊

But the benefits aside from no fuzz is that it exfoliates the skin and then is a good time to do some skin pampering/face mask etc as your skin is perfect to soak up lots of goodies immediately after dermplaning, it then also is a really good surface for make-up as well. It’s not something you have to religiously keep doing, you can just try it and then decide either way if/how often you want to do it again.

I was mega nervous before trying it and also scared of stubble, but I researched a lot around this (apparently it’s a myth that shaving makes it grow back darker/coarser) it hasn’t been the case at all, but definitely look into it yourself if you’re concerned. Good luck!
