What is Dip Powder?

Dip powder is an acrylic nail enhancement that makes nails stronglike traditional acrylic and shiny like gel. Dip powder manicures require no UV lights to cure, dry almost instantly and can last up to 2-3 weeks.

The acrylic used in thesehandcrafted dip powders are directly sourced and manufactured in the USA using top quality pigments, glitters and flakes.

DIP POWDER APPLICATION WITH DIP LIQUIDS

1. Clean and shape the nails, apply Prep or isopropyl alcohol and let dry.

2. Working one hand at a time, apply an even layer of 2in1 Dip Base/Top Coat and dip nail into the powder or pour the powder onto the nail. Tap off excess powder, press down the dip or glitter if needed, clean around cuticles and continue to the next finger. Dust off excess from all the nails and repeat for 2-3 coats. Remember to cap your edges.

OPTIONAL: Apply a final coat of 2in1 Dip Base/Top Coat to seal in and protect the color.

3. Apply Activator, wait 1-2 minutes, then shape and buff nails if needed.

4. Apply a second coat of Activator, wait 1-2 minutes and wipe well with a lint free wipe.

5. Using quick and light strokes, apply a thin layer of 2in1 Dip Base/Top Coat or Easy Dip Top Coat on all the nails. Allow to dry for 30-60 seconds and repeat for a 2nd layer for asmooth and shiny surface. Do not over brush, this could cause matte spots. Let dry fully for 3 minutes and moisturize with Cuticle Oil.

PRO TIPS

ChunkyGlitter: Shimmy the jarto help chunky pieces lay flat and riseto the surface. Apply a generous amount of Dip Baseand lay nailflat onto the powder surface to pick up glitters. Quickly pat down any pieces that may be sticking up. Hand place bigger pieces as desired with Dip Base and aGem Toolor Tweezers.Encapsulate with ClearDip Powder.

Liquid Care: Store liquids upright and away from light. Tap excess powder from nails, wipe off excess debris and/or activator from brush before returning to bottle to prevent thickening and contamination of liquids.

Brush Care: Use Dipalicious Nails Brush Saver to clean brushes, remove hardened bits and soften bristles. Simply wipe off excess dip liquid and place hardened brush in the Brush Saver. Let it soak until it softens. May require overnight soaking. Do not pull at the bristles. Cleaning your brushes is recommended after each use.

Bottle Care: After each use, wipe the bottle neck dry and apply cuticle oil to the threads to prevent buildup and to keep the lid from gluing shut.

Cuticle Care: For best application, place the liquid at the center of the nail first, then continue applying from the cuticle area to the free edge. Use a manicure stick to clean up the cuticle line after dipping if needed. Keep your skin moisturized between mani changes with quality cuticle oil.

Dip Powder:Acrylic ester polymer, Benzoyl Peroxide, titanium dioxide, cosmetic grade micas, polyester glitters and cosmetic glitters

Prep: Ethyl Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin

Dip Base/Top: Ethyl Cyanoacrylate, Polymethyl methacrylate.

Brush On Activator: 2-Propanone, Acetic Acid Ethyl Ester

Dropper Acticator: Ethyl Acetate, Dimethyl-P-Toluidine,Acetone

Easy Dip Top: Ethyl Cyanoacrylate,Polymethyl methacrylate

Brush Saver: Ethyl Cyanoacrylate, Hydroquinone

DIP POWDER APPLICATION WITH LED/UV GEL LIQUIDS

1. Clean and shape the nails, apply Prep or isopropyl alcohol and let dry.

2. Working one hand at a time, apply a thin even layer of UV/LED Base Gel and dip nail into the powder or pour the powder onto the nail. Tap off excess powder, gently press down the dip or glitter if needed, clean around cuticles and continue to the next finger being mindful that all the nails are still wet until they are cured under uv light. Cure for 30-60 seconds in a UV/LED nail lamp, dust off excess powder and repeat for 2-3 coats on each nail. Remember to cap your edges.

3. Apply base gel to encapsulate the last layer of dip and cure 30-60 seconds. Repeat until desired thickness is achieved.

4. Wipe off tacky layer with iso alcohol and gently shape and buff nails if needed. Cleanse excess dust with isopropyl alcohol.

5. Apply a thin layer of UV/LED No Wipe Top Gel, clean skin and cure for 30-60 seconds in a UV/LED nail lamp and moisturize with Cuticle Oil.

IMPORTANT: Clean any gel off the skin before curing to avoid developing allergies.Color may vary when using gels with dip powder versus dip liquids.

GEL LIQUID PRO TIPS

Liquid Care: Store liquids upright and away from light. Tap excess powder from nails to prevent over contamination.

Lifting Issues: Prep nails well removing all invisible cuticle, do not soak hands in water and avoid oils or products with moisturizers prior to applying nail enhancements. Consider using a Protein Bonder liquid prior to applying gels for oily nail beds or consistent lifting issues. ...................................................................................................................................

DIP POWDER REMOVAL

1. File off the top layer of the nail enhancement.

2. Soak the nails in 100% acetone for 5-10 minutes.

3. File down the softened dip between soaking.

4. Repeat steps until the dip powder has dissolved and is soaked off completely.

Quicker Removal: Place acetone in a leak proof baggie lined with paper towels and rest the bag in a bowl of warm water or rice while soaking. Rub nails against the towels to loosen the dip and repeat as needed.

*Do not pull or peel off your dip. It will cause damage to the natural nail.
